✅ 1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MedScopeHub website and all clinical tools, calculators, and content available thereon (collectively, "the Service"). By accessing the Service, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Medical Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

✔️ 2. Permitted use
MedScopeHub grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for the following purposes only:
- Clinical reference and decision support by qualified, registered healthcare professionals in the course of patient care
- Medical education and training by accredited medical educational institutions
- Clinical research and audit, provided the tools are not presented as validated diagnostic instruments without independent validation
- Personal professional development by healthcare workers
This licence does not include any rights to reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our prior written consent.
⛔ 3. Prohibited use
You must not use MedScopeHub:
- For self-diagnosis, self-treatment, or the lay diagnosis or treatment of others without medical qualification
- As a substitute for direct patient assessment, institutional protocols, or specialist advice
- To make final clinical decisions without verification against current approved guidelines
- To reproduce, scrape, copy, or redistribute the clinical content or code without written permission
- For commercial purposes including re-selling access or integrating into a paid product without a licence agreement
- In a manner that could mislead patients, caregivers, or other clinicians about the nature or limitations of the Tools
- In any way that violates applicable law, professional regulatory requirements, or the rights of others
- To attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
📚 4. Intellectual property
All content on MedScopeHub including but not limited to the clinical algorithms, dosing logic, text, design, user interface, and code is the intellectual property of MedScopeHub and its contributors, and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law.
The clinical guidelines, drug doses, and protocol data used as references are derived from publicly available WHO, FMOH, Kenya MOH, Ghana Health Service, BNFc, and NICE publications, which retain their own intellectual property rights.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from MedScopeHub content without our prior written consent.
⚠️ 5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. MedScopeHub expressly disclaims all warranties including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
- Warranties that any clinical information is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular clinical situation
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accuracy, but clinical guidelines change and we cannot guarantee that all content reflects the most current guidance at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MedScopeHub and its founders, officers, employees, medical reviewers, and contributors shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
- Loss of data, income, or profits
- Patient harm, adverse outcomes, or clinical errors
- Reliance on inaccurate or outdated clinical information
Your use of the Service is entirely at your own risk. If you are not comfortable with this limitation of liability, you should not use the Service.

MedScopeHub may contain links to third-party websites including WHO, FMOH, and other guideline sources. These links are provided for reference only. MedScopeHub does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site. Linking to a third-party site does not imply endorsement.
🔄 8. Modifications to the service
MedScopeHub reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
🌍 9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
Users accessing MedScopeHub from jurisdictions outside Nigeria do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws, professional regulations, and licensing requirements.
